ABSTRACT
The article discusses several factors affecting wind power. The factors focuses mainly on the environmental benefits and the costs of technology involved in the generation of wind power. It has been noted that the highest demand for wind power occurs when wind is low. Wind energy is dependent on prevailing wind conditions and has a limited load factor even with the use of technology. Another factor is the resources of wind power, whether built in-shore or off-shore.
