ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the documentary film "Flock of Dodos: The evolution-intelligent design circus," directed by Randy Olson. The film is on a debate on the intelligent design of the evolution of life. What the film makes crystal clear is that for the debate to be resolved, the public needs to be able to tell science from pseudoscience. They need to know how to evaluate claims, how to avoid relying on fallible common sense. In school, where children are still developing their faculties of reason and where, inevitably, proponents of intelligent design are pushing their false theories hardest.
