ABSTRACT
The article examines the social change typical at most law firms as associates begin to devote more time to family activities and to business commitments. Socializing at a senior level is nearly always in some way business-related. Usually, it is either with clients or part of recruiting. Some firms are encouraging social bonds through events that all can attend because they include family members. It is perceived that socializing will help foster solid teams in the office.
