ABSTRACT
The article reports that a new residential solar-powered community for the U.S. Army on Oahu, Hawaii will provide about thirty percent of its electrical needs through seven megawatts of photovoltaic paneling. This 1,702-acre community transformation will integrate renewable energy sources and sustainable design solutions.
