ABSTRACT
The article discusses issues involving the legality of the mandatory teaching of intelligent design in Los Angeles, California. Intelligent design is not creationism, which the U.S. Supreme Court barred from the public school curriculum in 1987 according to lawyer Casey Luskin. After parents of students studying in public schools in Los Angeles filed a case, the course on intelligent design was pulled. Information on the organization Discovery Institute was also provided.
