The article provides information on Reiki, a spiritual healing system that uses universal energy. This healing practice is an effective form of relaxation and energy balancing used by large numbers of practitioners. Reiki can be used in treating physical, emotional and spiritual conditions. At present, there are currently over 144 different types of Reiki. Regardless of the type of practiced, the most commonly used method is passive healing which allows the body to heal itself.
