ABSTRACT
The article relates the author's experiences when he became the platoon leader for the first battalion, 63rd U.S. Armor Task Force's Scout Platoon in January 2002, and when he participated in combat actions in and around Al Huwijah, Iraq in May 2003. The platoon's task organization consisted of four maneuver sections. And his battalion task force's scheme of maneuver was very concise.
