ABSTRACT
The article presents a one wind system extra winter heating provider for two solar-powered households. Amherst, Wisconsin is the place where the two households shared one wind system. Tehri and Roak Parker bought a Amish farm outside of Amherst in 1993. The Parkers had the idea of inventing the wind system from the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair in the form of photovoltaic (PV) panels and installer. They bought 30 used Acro 35- watt PV panels and had them installed on the roof of their house. The PV system's primary job is to power the well, high-efficiency refrigerator and washing machine, compact fluorescent light bulbs and house-wide sound system.
