ABSTRACT
The article deals with a research on solar photovoltaic systems being conducted by three students from Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey, California. The students suggest that solar energy might serve as an important component to fixing Iraq's power problems. They argued that such systems could not only benefit residential housing but could also contribute to the revitalization of communities and industries, as well as improving the overall well-being of the country. NPS found that Photovoltaic Power Conversion converts much more solar energy electricity than other current solar technologies.
