ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of former Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber to consider running in 2006. According to the former governor, excessive partisanship had made the state unmanageable. Kitzhaber asserted that being governor again might help him renew the debate over health care of the state. The candidacy of Kitzhaber would overturn the Democratic gubernatorial race which was considered an easy victory for Governor Ted Kulongoski.
