ABSTRACT
The article reports on the actions taken by Wal-Mart to refute the DVD release of the documentary film "Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price" in the U.S. in 2005. Director Robert Greenwald will sell copies of the DVD on his activist Web site. A memorandum was sent to Wal-Mart store managers that includes a script for management. In response to the film's claims against the company's healthcare policy, the memo points out the awareness of Wal-Mart on their responsibilities as the largest employer in the country.
