ABSTRACT
The article presents some curriculum news and also some information about books on educational leadership. R. Claude Graham, an official of the State Board of Education in Virginia, and Elizabeth Ellmore, a teacher at the Dinwiddle County Schools, reports on varied curriculum developments. Approximately 40 counties and cities have engaged in some kind of curriculum activity within the past few years. Committees under the leadership of the state department of education have developed guides in music, mathematics, language arts, and health and physical education. The book on educational leadership are "Health Instruction in Oregon Secondary Schools," "Guiding Your Gifted: A Handbook for Teachers, Administrators, and Parents," "Let's Teach English," "Guidance in the Elementary School," and others.
