Public health law meeting slated for June

This article reports on the Fourth Annual Public Health Law Conference: The Public's Health and the Law in the 21st Century to be held in Atlanta, Georgia from June 13 to 15, 2005. Public health professionals can learn how legal tools can be used to improve health during the conference on public health law. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Society for Law, Medicine and Ethics are co-sponsoring the conference. The meeting will focus on innovative legal tools for improved public health, with an emphasis on information that participants can use in day-to-day practice.
