ABSTRACT
The article presents information about a luncheon arranged on October 7, 2004 in the courtyard of the Middle East Institute, in Washington D.C. Three women, each committed to peace, Marianne Albina, a Christian Palestinian, Hidaya Said Najmi, a Muslim Palestinian and Gila Svirsky, a Jewish Israeli, spoke at the luncheon. Albina said that Israel's occupation is making it hard for Palestinian children to get to school. Svirsky said that Israel is paying too high a price to maintain the occupation in Palestine.
