ABSTRACT
The article presents news relate to the tourism industry. Flybe is extending its route network from Birmingham International Airport with the launch of a weekly flight to the French ski resort of Chambery from January 8. Great Britain branch of the Pacific Asia Travel Association has joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Travel Advice Review Group. Hotel occupancy rates did not improve over the summer to the same level as room yields, says consultancy PKF. London occupancy fell 1.4 percent in August.
