ABSTRACT
This article discusses some issues related to the designing of trucks. Following the debut of its R-series fleet flagships, Scania AB completes the launch of its new line-up with the release of the more workaday P-series models. Inevitably the question is even more important in Great Britain, where Scania sells far more vehicles than in its modest home market. First impressions based on a drive around the Mosel valley is of good build quality and thoughtfully positioned controls. The day cab's extra space means more seat adjustment options and engineers stress that the need for sufficient foot room was taken into account from the start. INSET: T-CAB REVISITED.
