ABSTRACT
History Channel is updating its global brand identity to fight off increased competition from rival digital channels. The redesign will be applied first in Great Britain in late 2004, before rolling out to remaining countries by spring 2005. History Channel is the only international TV network devoted exclusively to historical programming. Separately, Lambie Nairn has been hired by Discovery Kids to refresh its on-air identity.
