ABSTRACT
General Motors Corp. (GM) has shifted the 7.5m pound direct marketing duties for its Vauxhall and Saab brands into one agency. The company has handed the consolidated account to Draft London, which already handles Saab's direct work, in a bid to improve the quality of its marketing. GM's review of its direct business began in January 2004. It followed the centralisation of its 98m pound media accounts for Vauxhall, Saab and Daewoo into Initiative in September. The latter is the direct arm of ad agency Delaney Lund Knox Warren, which handles the majority of Vauxhall's advertising business.
