ABSTRACT
Football team Dallas Cowboys likes the offseason work second-year QB Tony Romo has done in the weight room and on the field. Romo is an intelligent player with a strong arm. The Cowboys acquired FB Darian Barnes when they swapped seventh-round picks with Tampa Bay Buccaneers on draft day. Coach Bill Parcells believes Dallas must improve its special teams. Terence Newman, who will play on the left side, is the team's only known quantity at cornerback. Pete Hunter has the best combination of size and speed among the candidates to start on the right side, but he is unproven.
