Focuses on the proposed rules about the endangered status of two Oregon plants, Cook's lomatium (CL) and wooly meadowfoam (WM), contained in the 2000 Endangered Species Act. Growth of both plants in a seasonal wetland type known as vernal pool; Factors that contributed to the decline of these plants such as urbanization, road construction and livestock maintenance; Identification of 13 populations of CL and 10 populations of WM.
