ABSTRACT
This column reports on developments regarding the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT). The Board of Directors of AASECT has approved a formal definition of "retired" members. It has indicated that retired members must be 60 years of age with less than full-time employment and able to document a reduction on income. The board has also approved a reduced fee for re-certification of retired members. Retired members who wish to remain AASECT certified must pay the annual membership fee of $0, and certification renewal is now $100.
