ABSTRACT
This article presents information about various brochures related to package tours. Thomas Cook Ltd. has overhauled its second-edition Italy and Sicily 2004 brochure. The new resorts of Torri del Benaco and Lazise near Lake Garda, Lido di Venezia, Verona and Cefalu in Sicily have been added. The brochure design has been overhauled to include additional information on local tourist attractions provided by Thomas Cook's resort-based staff. Wallace Arnold has extended its special interest, themed and activity program by a third and introduced holidays for single people for the first time. The operator has negotiated single occupancy rooms with no additional supplements. Travel 4 has launched two brochures for 2004, Discover Latin America and Discover Canada and Alaska. The Discover Latin America brochure has added 25 new properties, with each city getting its own page of hotels, and a six-day cruise in Chilean Patagonia. The Discover Canada and Alaska brochure includes two new self-drive itineraries; a 14-day Vancouver to Calgary tour and a chance to explore Ontario's lake region.
