ABSTRACT
The article reports on the North Korean ballistic missile program and how to deter its nuclear weapons. The North Korean ballistic missile test submarine Gome successfully fired a missile in August 2016. North Korea is also planning a submarine with up to four launch tubes for completion in 2017. Iran has a large and active ballistic missile program as well as close ties to North Korea and is suspected to be offering missile technology to North Korea.
