ABSTRACT
The article discusses the importance role played by educational technologies in both inside and outside the classroom. The role played by technology in education and the forecast regarding the continued use of electronic (e)-readers and mobile devices as part of the learning process is discussed. The advantages brought by such technologies which have provided means for a global village of learning are also mentioned.
