ABSTRACT
This article discusses the organization of the political group known as the Federación Socialista Asturiana (Asturian Socialist Federation) of the Partido Socialista Obrero Español (Spanish Socialist Workers' Party) during the period from 1975-1983. The author comments on the impact of the death of Spanish dictator Francisco Franco in 1975 and the process of democratization on the FSA-PSOE.
