ABSTRACT
Institute of IT Training, Great Britain has been busy planning the next phase of its evolution, with the development of some exciting new programmes to better serve its rapidly expanding membership. The first new initiative has been to revise and simplify membership applications by asking new members to run through a self-assessment test online. This new programme, called Skills Tracker, enables prospective and current members to take a self-assessment test based on the 85-plus competences included in the Institute's new Common Book of Skills. Skills Tracker system, powered by InfoBasis, will also be used to process new membership applications, offering four clear benefits to applicants.
