ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's claim that U.S. President Barack Obama overstepped his authority by issuing a gun control-related executive order in 2016 which is designed to alter the nation's firearms licensing rules and force gun dealers to perform background checks before selling firearms to consumers. The National Rifle Association of America (NRA) is examined, along with unlicensed sales of firearms at gun shows across the country. Licensed firearms dealers (FFLs) are assessed.
