Control Systems Cybersecurity: Lessons Learned From Virginia Assessments

The article offers the authors' views on a cybersecurity assessments programs at water utilities in the U.S. They mention its potential in providing optimum practices despite the risk of cyberwarfare. They also note the enactment of the Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness Act of 2002 or Bioterrorism Act in response to the terrorist attack in New York on September 11, 2001 which required utilities to execute evaluations on vulnerabilities.
