ABSTRACT
The author discusses the threat of the occupation of the West Bank to the State of Israel in terms of spiritual and moral and losing Israel's original dignity, focusing on the role of European parliaments and governments in the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He explores the campaign launched by Prime Minister Kjell Stefan Löfven of Sweden to recognize the State of Palestine, the problem with West Bank settlement, and considerations for ending the occupation and conflict.
