Al Michaels, the voice of ABC Sports Inc.'s television program "Monday Night Football," will add the NBA to his duties next season as the lead play-by-play announcer for ABC's NBA coverage, starting in December 2003. Michaels is replacing Brad Nessler, who will continue to announce a mix of games for ABC and lead ESPN's NBA coverage, including the Eastern Conference Finals.
