The author reports on the lack of proper documentation and knowledge of usage of funds by the humanitarian organization, American Red Cross (ARC), Washington, D.C., U.S. for 2010 earthquake relief in Haiti, Dominican Republic. Also mentioned is that the funds could have been mismanaged by their partners, which could have affected the effectiveness and speed of the projects. The ARC has responded to the article that they are continuously evaluating themselves and have done well at Haiti.
