ABSTRACT
From the time education was made compulsory, Australian schools and education systems have been managed primarily by men, while the day-to-day running has been left to women. This imbalance, coupled with a cultural history of positioning women as emotional, has shaped the way for rational masculinity to dominate reform. Shared in this paper are insights into this practice based on Queensland's Literate Futures reform.
