Barry Moreno has been librarian and historian at the Ellis Island Immigration Museum and the Statue of Liberty National Monument since 1988. He is the author of The Statue of Liberty Encyclopedia, which was published by Simon& Schuster in October 2000. He is a native of Los Angeles, California. In his spare time, Barry enjoys reading, writing, and studying foreign languages and grammar.
