A "Super-Organization" Out of NGTF and GRNL?

Walter, David
April 1985
Advocate;4/2/85, Issue 417, p9
As Stephen Endean announced in October 1983, that he was resigning as executive director of the Gay Rights National Lobby Inc. (GRNL), there was a push by certain prominent gay figures for a merger of GRNL and the National Gay Task Force (NGTF). It was generally felt that with the departure of Endean, barely in speaking terms with NGTF leaders, the time was perfect for the two groups to resolve their differences. However, after discussions among group members of both the groups, the notion of merger has been dismissed for the time being.
