60% of P.R. residents have bank accounts with Banco Popular

The article presents a survey conducted by research foundation Gaither International on the popular financial institutions in Puerto Rico in 2015. The survey shows that financial institution Banco Popular de Puerto Rico was considered the primary institution by 60% of respondents which makes it the main financial institution in Puerto Rico. It reveals that about one out of five respondents having financial relationships cite a co-operative as their primary institution.
