Abstract
ABSTRACT
The article discusses the controversial issue of creationism and a case regarding the said issue which was handled by U.S. District Judge John E. Jones III. It provides an overview of the Kitzmiller versus Dover Area School District case and its decision as well as Jones' opinion reaffirming the separation of the church and state. It mentions the intelligent design (ID) as the latest variant of creationism and the teaching of ID in public schools.
